Our Board of Trustees (BoT) comprises professionals who bring robust expertise, global experience, and a shared passion for youth development and women empowerment through our sustainable solutions and our pragmatic programs.
Their leadership and guidance are instrumental in achieving our goals and making positive impact in the communities and groups that we serve.
Adeyinka is the Executive Director of Wise Network Foundation. She is an international development specialist, business consultant, Certified Financial Education Instructor, policy advocate, youth engagement and women empowerment coach.
She has over 18 years or robust professional and coaching experience with reputable organizations including the World Bank Group (IFC) amongst others. She is an alumnus of the United States’ International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) as a Social Innovator and Change Maker; a UNIDO trained Gender Lens Investment advocate. She is currently the Vice-Chairman for the Lagos State Scrabble and Monopoly Association (LASSMA).
She is an avid volunteer on some socially impactful initiatives such as Business Mentor on the African Diaspora Network (ADN) and Cherie Blair Foundation for Women’s “Mentoring Women in Business” Programme, etc.
Adeyinka is passionate about financial literacy/inclusion, youth engagement, entrepreneurship, women empowerment, climate change, and a tech enthusiast. She contributes articles on these areas and has extensive coaching and field experiences developing and delivering cutting edge programs and projects on financial literacy/inclusion for youth and women across various age and social groups while also contributing relevant articles in these areas.
Dekemi is a brand and marketing communications professional. She has over 12 years’ in-depth experience working with several brands across various industries in West Africa, North America and Europe.
Her expertise spans marketing strategy, brand development and management, communications, community management, digital marketing, content creation, media buying and monitoring, event planning and coordination, training, amongst others.
She holds a B.A. in Mass Communication from Babcock University, Nigeria and an M.Sc. in International Management from the Paris School of Business, France.
She has a Certificate in Integrated Brand Experience from Orange Academy, Nigeria’s foremost School of Advertising and has attended several trainings on a myriad of subjects.
When she’s not working, she enjoys travelling, reading and restaurant-hopping.
Taiwo is a renowned environmental consultant with about 23 years of broad-range industry experience setting up climate sustainability initiatives as Co-Founder Peak Recycling Services; Co-founder Waste Swap; Co-founder Circularity Africa; Former Managing Director/CEO WasteExchange Limited; Former Executive Director Recycle Points Nigeria; Providence Recycling and Executive Director, Sustainable Waste Recycling Community of Nigeria. Board Member Sterling One Foundation Beach Clean Up Steering Committee.
Taiwo was selected as one of the 115 Young Africa Leaders that met with the former U.S. President Barack Obama at the White House in Washington DC between August 3 – 5th 2010. He is an Alumnus of the U.S. Consulate’s International Visitors’ Leadership Program. He was identified and awarded as one of Nigeria’s Top 100 Environmental Professional 2022 by Environment Africa Magazine. He was the Chapter contributor in the book “WASTENOMICS” towards Sustainable Waste Management Practices and Education for Sustainable Development in Nigeria, Published by Middlesex University Press, U.K.
He consults for Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Sustainable Development Goal Unit on Environmental Sustainability and Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA). He is Senior Special Assistant on International matters on Waste to Energy/Wealth and Member National Task Force on Marine Liter and Plastics Management in Nigeria constituted by Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA)
